We are looking for an experienced Interim Management accountant to join a highly experienced and passionate team based in Watford. For the right person this role to turn into a permanent placement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and produce accurate monthly management accounts for Group entities and Practices.
- Compile and present monthly financial reporting packs for the CFO and Board
- Conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring strong financial controls are in place
- Support the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts in line with business goals
- Partner with operational managers, providing insightful analysis on key cost areas.
- Identify and drive initiatives to improve profitability and reduce costs, contributing to financial growth
- Assist with year-end preparation and collaborate with external auditors
- Champion 'best practices' in Finance and promote efficiency across the wider business
- Leverage technology and AI solutions to automate processes and enhance efficiency
- Perform any additional ad-hoc tasks as required
