About the role

The Content Producer is responsible for researching and producing internal client facing and front of paywall multimedia content to support and highlight the work of International SOS Medical and Security Information and Analysis & Assistance professionals.

Key responsibilities

  • Create maps, images, audio, video and other multimedia files using in-house software; working closely with relevant colleagues across Medical & Security Assistance Services, Content Services and other business lines.
  • Work with colleagues and conduct interviews to produce podcasts and videos highlighting the work of International SOS with regards to Information and Analysis, Assistance and Digital Learning.
  • Work with Editorial as well as Group and Regional Marketing teams to update internal and external websites, portals and documents in a timely way.
  • Support the work of Security, Medical and Editorial specialists in the production of high-quality deliverables such as reports, infographics and podcasts.
  • Help to drive good practice in multimedia delivery through building and updating training materials, creating a centre of excellence for podcast and video production

About you

  • Typically three years of content creation experience – working in a communications, multimedia/graphic design, marketing and/or editorial/newsgathering setting.
  • Comfortable with conducting audio and video interviews on a range of geopolitical and health-related topics for internal and external publication.
  • Ability to engage directly with and earn the trust of Senior Medical and Security professionals.
  • Passionate about audio and video as a means of communicating information in an engaging way; with a best-in-class knowledge of how pod- and vodcast techniques and technology are evolving.
  • First-class research and written communication skills.
  • A proven interest and/or background in the work of International SOS and a passion for the values of the organisation.
  • Familiarity with a range of publicly available, relevant source material - including government and NGO websites and social media.
  • Experience of audio video production and graphic design preferred.
  • Experience using Content Management Systems and using mapping software preferred.
  • University degree in any discipline preferred
  • An excellent standard of written and spoken English is essential.
  • Proficiency in any other languages is a distinct advantage.
