As the Assistant Head Teacher, you will be a key member of the senior leadership team, working closely with the Head Teacher to drive the strategic vision of the school.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and managing a team of dedicated teachers and support staff
- Overseeing curriculum development and ensuring high standards of teaching and learning
- Implementing school policies and procedures to promote a positive and inclusive school culture
- Monitoring and evaluating student progress and implementing strategies to support student achievement
- Engaging with parents, carers, and the wider community to build strong partnerships
- Contributing to the overall leadership and management of the school, including staff development and performance management
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a proven track record of successful teaching experience
- Experience in a leadership role within a secondary school setting
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to inclusive education and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders
- A passion for education and a drive to make a positive impact on the lives of young people
