The Role:
- Customer Engagement: Connect with customers by greeting them, making eye contact, and smiling.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional service by adapting to each customer's needs.
- Product Knowledge: Be familiar with the product range and store layout, making recommendations when possible.
- Complaint Handling: Listen and empathise with customer complaints, providing suitable responses and referring unresolved issues to a leader.
- Store Maintenance: Keep aisles free of obstructions and undertake cleaning duties as required.
- Performance Metrics: Understand and strive to meet key performance indicators such as sales, operational efficiency, price changes, inventory management, and customer service.
- Inventory Control: Minimise stock loss and accurately check off deliveries and record wastage.
Maintaining a clean and organised store is crucial. The team takes pride in providing a tidy shopping environment for customers.
