Reed is recruiting on behalf of a client based in Morley who are looking for a Data and Compliance Administrator to join their team on a permanent basis. This role is ideal for someone with a deep understanding of Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) and Mayoral Combined Authority (MCA) funding rules, who is looking to take on a new challenge in the education sector.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Audit learner data and information for accuracy and compliance with funding policy rules and procedures.
  • Record auditing outputs to enable Management Information (MI) to be produced for feedback on competency and performance.
  • Coordinate with team members to undertake all compliance and internal audit activities.
  • Create management reports and funding returns to commissioners.
  • Work closely with senior management to deliver improvements in process design and data quality.
  • Maintain accurate learner data records in the ILR system, ensuring compliance and data integrity.
  • Validate and update learner information from various sources for accuracy and consistency.
  • Support data audits to identify and rectify inconsistencies or errors.
  • Monitor and track learner data for timely ILR submission and reporting.
  • Collaborate with teams to resolve data-related issues and support data submission processes.
  • Generate accurate reports using ILR data for analysis and auditing.
  • Stay updated on ILR regulations, funding rules, and data protection policies.
  • Lead on the Functional Skills process, including registering learners and exam booking.
  • Provide training and guidance on ILR data collection and management.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of data management processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of ESFA and MCA funding rules.
  • Full understanding and application of the Individualised Learner Record (ILR) specification requirements.
  • Experience in managing data and curriculum planning.
  • Ability to manage time effectively to meet targets and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in using and updating multiple databases.
  • Strong planning, preparation, and administrative skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
