Associate Town Planner - St Neots - £Competitive

Are you an experienced Town Planner looking to advance your career within a dynamic and well-established firm? Our client, a leading multidisciplinary consultancy with a strong reputation in the industry, is seeking an Associate Town Planner to join their growing team.

The Role: As an Associate Town Planner, you will play a crucial role in shaping and managing diverse planning projects across a wide range of sectors, including residential, commercial, rural, and development land. You'll be working with a supportive and collaborative team, taking on responsibilities that include:

  • Leading and managing planning applications, appeals, and site appraisals
  • Providing expert planning advice to clients across various sectors
  • Managing a portfolio of clients and projects, from inception through to completion
  • Representing the company at meetings with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders
  • Working closely with other departments to offer a full service to clients

Key Requirements:

  • RTPI membership (or eligibility)
  • Proven experience in a town planning role, ideally within a consultancy
  • Strong understanding of UK planning policy and legislation
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team
