UX Lead Designer

A global market leader is seeking a talented UX Lead with an exceptional portfolio of previous B2B and B2C design success to join their team.

Job Description:

As the UX Lead, you will be at the forefront of the design efforts centred around the organisation's mobile App, driving the user experience strategy.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including but not limited to Product Managers and offshore developers, to create intuitive and engaging user interfaces, with a particular focus around mobile apps.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct user research, including usability testing, interviews, and surveys, to gather insights and inform design decisions.
  • Conduct A/B testing to ensure the most successful options for the business are being pursued.
  • Collaborate with product managers and developers , among many other stakeholders both inside and outside the Digital team to ensure design feasibility
  • Oversee and mentor a small team of UX Developers
  • Develop and implement user experience strategies that align with business goals and user needs.
  • Advocate for user-centered design principles and best practices throughout the organisation.
  • Analyse and interpret data from multiple sources to make informed design decisions and improve user experience.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in UX design.
  • Facilitate design workshops and brainstorming sessions to encourage creative solutions and team collaboration.
  • Present design concepts and user experience strategies to stakeholders and executive leadership.
  • Ensure all designs adhere to accessibility and inclusivity requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrable experience in B2C and B2B UX design
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in user-centered design
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar. (Figma preferred)
  • Excellent understanding of user research methodologies and usability testing.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven design decisions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and strategies to various audiences.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
  • Passion for creating intuitive, engaging, and user-friendly digital interfaces
  • Willingness to travel to client sites (Car provided)
