Mobile QE Engineer/Mobile Automation Tester Location: Burgess Hill (Hybrid) Pay: £65,000- £75,000
A Global IT consultancy client of ours is seeking a QE Engineer who has experience in both automation and functional testing.
As a QE Engineer you will be working closely with Product Design and Development teams to understand product requirements and create comprehensive test plans and test cases.
Essential Skills:
- At least 8 years of technical experience, with a bachelor's degree in science, preferably in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
- Hands-on testing experience with iOS and Android mobile platforms using a range of functional and automated tools is required.
- Experience with mobile app automation tools (e.g., MonkeyTalk, Selendroid, Appium, Katalon) and a solid understanding of various types of testing, including functional, integration, regression, exploratory, end-to-end, compatibility, GUI, web services, and accessibility.
- Working knowledge of Swift, Kotlin, or similar programming languages, and API testing experience using tools like Postman, IntelliJ, or Http Client.
- Familiarity with debugging tools such as Charles Proxy, Splunk, Sentry, or similar.
