Goods Inward and Warehouse Operative

Our client is a multi-award winning, independent organization which deliver world leading products. They are looking for a Goods Inwards Operative to join their busy and growing team!
Goods Inwards Operative Roles and Responsibilities:
- Managing inventory and record keeping
- Loading & Unloading vehicles as they come in
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods
- Work against purchase orders & delivery notes for goods coming in
- Unpack, label and store incoming goods in designated locations
- Pick parts to work orders and move to the correct manufacturing production cell
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, stock movements and transactions using inventory MRP/ERP system
- Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and free from hazards
- Collaborate with team members to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
- Follow all safety protocols & procedures to ensure a safe working environment
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and ware procedures
The ideal Goods Inwards Operative will:
- Previous experience in a warehouse
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding role
- Familiarity with inventory management software systems
- Good computer skills include MS Word & Excel
- Strong attention to detail & accuracy in record-keeping
- Excellent organisational & interpersonal abilities
- Knowledge of warehouse operations & procedures
- Forklift certification
Working Hours + Benefits:
- Monday - Thursday: 7.45 - 16.15 / Friday: 7.45 - 13.15
- Company pension scheme whereby the company pay 3% each month and the employees pay 5%
- 25 Days a year holiday, running from 1st Jan - 31 Dec, plus bank holidays
- Should the company decide to close between Christmas and New Year, these days will be a bonus
