Job Title: Part Time Audio Typist (Chartered Surveyors)

Hours: Monday - Friday 10:00 - 15:00

Location: Preston

Company: Our client, a leading Chartered Surveyors firm, is seeking a skilled and dedicated Audio Typist to assist their team on a temporary basis. Role Overview:

As an Audio Typist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Chartered Surveyors team by transcribing and formatting various documents, reports, correspondence, and survey notes. Your exceptional typing speed and accuracy will ensure timely delivery of high-quality written materials, enabling the team to provide outstanding service to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Transcribe dictations and audio recordings into well-structured documents with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
Format and proofread documents to ensure consistency and professionalism.
Edit and update existing documents as required.
Collaborate with the surveyors and other team members to ensure smooth document flow and efficient communication.
Prioritise and manage a high volume of transcription tasks, ensuring all deadlines are met.
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.

Qualifications and Skills:

Proven experience as an Audio Typist or similar role, preferably in the field of chartered surveying or a related industry.
Excellent typing speed and accuracy, with a minimum typing speed of 65 words per minute.
Proficiency in using transcription software and Microsft packages.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy, even when working under pressure.
Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a good command of grammar and spelling.
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively as part of a team.
