About the role

We're looking for a curious and experienced People Operations Partner to join our newly created People Operations team. You'll champion our values throughout the business, understanding how they underpin the way we do things.

Reporting to our Director of People Operations, you'll be a true generalist with the ability to deal with ambiguity and show resilience as we build an innovative people-focussed HR function. You'll be a key member of the team, advising and coaching managers on best practices and identifying key insights that we'll deliver back into the business.

Key Duties:

  • Supporting and guiding Managers and Employees on policies, procedures and employee relations queries
  • Partner with managers to ensure we are developing key talent and forming cross department relationships to build a world class team
  • Work with the Director of People to implement and maintain a meaningful performance review system
  • Actively contribute to initiatives and projects such as DE&I, ESG, early careers, employee engagement, and learning and development programmes
  • Lead on employee relations, managing ER cases end to end independently, escalating to the Director of People as required
  • Support the Director of People with restructures and consultations as required
  • Regularly review and propose updates to People policies and processes to reflect changes to local legislation
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR systems and processes to ensure employees are able to effectively self-serve
  • Develop and lead management development initiatives to equip them with essential people management skills such as effective feedback, communication and managing performance
  • Becoming an expert in our core values to help us hire to them and therefore uphold and enhance our culture

About You

  • You've done this before – you're CIPD qualified with hands-on experience of providing HR advice and support to managers.
  • You're honest, trustworthy and able to work with confidential information.
  • You take a proactive approach to problem solving and generating ideas – challenging the status quo and producing well informed recommendations.
  • You're an advocate of positive change and you can influence and build relationships at all levels.
  • You're agile – in a newly formed team you have the ability to work flexibly to support the business and the team.
