Hours: 06:00 - 18:00, 4 days on, 4 days off

This role plays a vital part in supporting our facility by managing vehicle operations within the receipt and distribution department to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient delivery processes.
Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you'll be responsible for safely managing deliveries by assisting vehicle operators, maintaining a clear flow of traffic, and keeping areas free of pedestrians. Your primary tasks include:
- Coordinating the delivery and movement of supplies in partnership with logistics and ward staff, ensuring high-quality service.
- Managing traffic flow by directing vehicles, using signs and barriers, and minimising reversing where possible to enhance safety.
- Maintaining a clean and organised service yard, including daily cleaning of public areas and waste management.
- Operating essential equipment such as pallet trucks and compactors and managing the safe disposal of waste.
- Supporting periodic cleaning by moving light furniture and reporting any equipment or building issues.
Skills & Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills for effective coordination with drivers and team members.
- Awareness of health and safety practices, including COSHH regulations for cleaning supplies.
- Ability to follow operational procedures and policies for safety and confidentiality.
