Role: Technical Lead
Length: 6 months initially
Location: London / Hybrid
IR35 Status: Inside IR35
Day Rate: £600 - £675 per day
Clearance: Active SC - used within the last 12 months
One of my public sector clients are currently looking for a Technical Lead. They are looking for a Technical Lead to join them on a hybrid basis with travel to office in London 2-3 days per week. This engagement will run on for an initial 6 month contract - with a view to extend.
As a technical lead you will have the ability to manage multiple, diverse, technology workstreams in an agile environment. You will provide technical leadership and architecture recommendations, whilst proactively looking for opportunities to establish patterns and best practice.
Technical Lead you will have relevant experience in:
- In-depth understanding of design patterns and software engineering best practices
- Experience in different levels of architecture design e.g. software, application, data
- Previous experience in full stack development. This may be in any language, although JavaScript (React) & python will be in everyday use by the team
- Experience of key AWS platform technologies including Lambda, S3, EC2, Glue, Athena, CloudFront, AppStream
- Knowledge of building data pipelines (ETL and/or analytical pipelines) and understanding of the design of ETL Pipeline development experience in AWS
Responsibilities:
- Produce Low Level Technical Designs
- Undertake hands-on AWS engineering tasks
- Day to day technical guidance for engineers and developers
- Code reviews
- Assist engineers and developers with breaking tasks into granular tickets for sprint planning
