Job Title: Humanities Teacher (Geography, History, and RE) (No Planning + No Marking)

Location: BS15, Bristol

Contract Type: Fixed-Term (Starting after Easter 2024, 1-2 terms)

Salary: Negotiable based on experience and pay scale, ranging from £125 to £200 per day.

Are you a dedicated educator seeking an opportunity to make a difference in the vibrant community of BS15, Bristol? We are currently hiring enthusiastic Humanities Teachers to join our team at a school located in this dynamic area. This role involves teaching Geography, History, and Religious Education up to GCSE level, shaping the academic and personal growth of our students.

Key Details:

Days: Positions available for two days a week (0.4 FTE) and four days a week (0.8 FTE).

Duration: Starting after Easter 2024, continuing for 1-2 terms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons across Geography, History, and RE.
  • Inspire a passion for humanities subjects and foster student motivation.
  • Contribute to the development of the humanities curriculum.
  • Provide assessments and constructive feedback to support student progress.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enrich the overall educational experience.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated experience teaching Geography, History, and RE up to GCSE level.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable), and professional reference checks.
  • CV covering the last 10 years of employment history.
