The IT Systems & Infrastructure Manager Role:
As the Infrastructure Manager, you will lead the IT team in maintaining and supporting existing systems and infrastructure, ensuring the integrity and efficiency of IT operations. Your responsibilities will include overseeing site-specific installations, conducting annual risk assessments, developing strategic plans for infrastructure capacity, managing vendor relationships, and providing hands-on support when needed. Other responsibilities include:

  • Lead the IT team in system maintenance and support
  • Coordinate with third-party contractors to maintain IT infrastructure integrity
  • Oversee PC replacements and new system installations
  • Mentor and guide junior team members
  • Conduct annual risk assessments and collaborate with insurers and auditors
  • Develop and implement strategic infrastructure plans
  • Manage vendor relationships for infrastructure products and services
  • Oversee telecoms, security, and alarm services, and audit service levels

IT Systems & Infrastructure Manager - Essential Skills:

  • Proven experience in IT infrastructure management
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Excellent problem-solving and risk assessment skills
  • Ability to develop strategic plans and manage vendor relationships
  • Hands-on experience in infrastructure support and maintenance
  • Effective communication skills for liaising with internal and external stakeholders
