Procurement Project - Public Procurement Act - Outside IR35
Macildowie are exclusively partnering with a Public Sector organisation in Leicestershire who are looking for an individual to deliver a project on the Procurement Act over the next 5 months.

Role
This role will be joining this organisation who are on their journey of implementing the changes in order to align with the Procurement act.
The successful individual will be delivering training across the organisation as well as being instrumental in the changes to policies and procedures.
Ideally they are looking for an individual who has played a part/ delivered this within another Public Sector organisation however appreciate this pool may be very small and so are open to individuals with both prior Public Sector Procurement knowledge and experience who have delivered training and communications within prior roles that would have parallels to the demands of this role and are willing to undertake the training to be familiar with the content and then roll it out.
IMPORTANT This will be a hands on requirement with you compiling the content from scratch (if you haven't already created the content) and rolling this out. If you want more of a purely strategic, hands off role where you are delegating to a team then this isn't the role for you.
Requirements
- 3+ years Public sector procurement experience including end to end processes and experience at Manager or above level
- Experience delivering training across a procurement function/ wider organisation in line with legislative changes or best practice that would align in scale to this project
- Desirable - experience delivering training on the Procurement Act within a public sector organisation in the last 12 months
- Able to start a new role within 4-6 weeks' notice
