Based in Trafford - Hybrid Working
Main Priotities
- To facilitate all Freedom of Information (FOI) for Adults and Children's Social Care and Education Services to ensure the service responds to requests within the regulatory timescales.
- To facilitate all Subject Access Requests relating to Adult Services
- To be the main point of contact for managers and staff who are seeking guidance and advice on the Freedom of Information requests for Adults, Childrens and Education Services and Subject Access Requests for Adult Services.
- To provide business support for the ICE Team with regard to processing complaints and Adult Social Care appeals.
Key Duties:
- To record all FOI and SAR requests on the Progress Report (RAG Report)
- To allocate the requests to appropriate person(s) for a response
- To monitor and pursue response(s) to the request
- To collate the response for management sign off and
- To send out the signed off response to the Requestor and Information Governance Team
- Access sensitive information held on the Integrated Childcare System (ICS) and Adult Social Care Liquid Logic (LL) system required for completing Subject Access Requests and supporting the complaints and appeals processes ensuring confidentiality is exercised at all times.
- To provide statistical information to the ICE Team Manager as and when requested
- To assist in the maintenance of the ICE Team electronic filing system, in particular for FOIs, SARs and Adult Social Care Appeals.
- To provide administrative and project related support including preparing for meetings, taking minutes/action points, diary management etc. for the equalities work programme and the ICE Team.
