This is an opportunity for someone with at least one year of experience within Part O assessments to work within an award-winning consultancy that works closely with leading UK housebuilders from a fully remote position. Responsibilities of the Overheating Assessor:
- Producing overheating TM52 and TM59 Assessments, Part O assessments
- Active engagement with the client and project team to ensure that sustainability requirements are taken into consideration and achieved throughout the duration of the development
- Delivery of high-quality overheating and thermal comfort analysis using IES
- Thermal modelling using IES Software
- Being involved in energy assessments and modelling improvements
- Consult on building design to comply with Part L
The ideal Overheating Assessor will:
- Be computer literate and have a good level of general education
- Be competent in the use of IES for overheating
- Be able to manage their time effectively
- Have excellent communication skills
- Be self-motivated and able to deal with a fast-paced environment
