Business Analyst Apprentice

Overview:
We are now looking for an eager candidate to join us as an Data Analyst apprentice.

You will have the opportunity to work closely with our IT teams and Business Services teams to enable transformation and improved ways of working across Dixons Academies Trust

Annual salary:
£25,584 per annum.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Live the mission, values and drivers every day
  • Participate in project planning, monitoring, and reporting activities
  • Assist in the coordination and facilitation of project meetings and workshops
  • Conduct process mapping and analysis to identify areas for improvement
  • Assist in the design and implementation of new processes to enhance operational efficiency
  • Collect, analyse, and interpret data to identify trends, patterns, and insights
  • Report any safeguarding concerns immediately to a designated safeguarding lead
  • Carry out any other reasonable duties as requested by the head of service delivery

  • Basic understanding of business analysis methodologies and tools
  • Current or previous roles in customer service, sales or administrative positions – using problem-solving, communication, and organisational skills

Entry requirements:

  • Level 3 Qualification + at least 12 months of work experience* + robust onboarding plan (learner must work in the organisation for 3 months before signing up)
  • OR business-related degree eg business, finance, economics, maths, etc.
  • OR non-business-related degree + at least 6 months of work experience*
  • OR existing staff member with 2+ years of work experience**
  • Work experience relates to any valid work experience
  • *Existing staff work experience should not be in a business analyst role

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.

If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.

Working week:
Monday to Friday,
8am - 4pm,
37.5hrs a week.
