Position: Services Manager
Reporting to: Regional Manager
Location: Orkney
Service: Autism Support
Salary: £38,000 - £42,000 + island living allowance
Responsibilities:
- Train and development manager and teams to ensure a constant high quality of support in like with the organisations policies and procedures and governing bodies such as Care Inspectorate and SSSC. Promote continuous development.
- Gain a strong understanding and ensure needs are met for people with autism and their families.
- Create and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
- Promote the organisations values and participate in the community to support better outcomes, in turn contributing to the growth of the service.
- Participate in audits, budget control and service design.
- Support the recruitment process in line with safer recruitment.
Requirements:
- Hold or be willing to work towards SVQ4 in Health and Social Care and Leadership and Management.
- Hold 3-5 years' experience in a management position within the health and social care sector.
- A strong knowledge and understanding of autism support.
- Decision making, knowledge in budgeting, excellent communication skills, leading a team with training support.
