Finance Business Partner

Broster Buchanan are currently recruiting for a Finance Business Partner, 1 day a week in Kettering with some local travel on other days.

Role Responsibilities

The role is responsible for enhancing strategic financial analysis and insight to enable the understanding, of financial reporting on performance to key stakeholders, including the Executive Team and leadership teams.

The role will ensure the efficient and effective allocation of resource, integrating finance and planning, allocating and managing finance.

As a Finance Business Partner you will:

  • Develop excellent working relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring KPIS, professional strategic financial advice and guidance is provided and applied effectively
  • Ensure monthly reporting is accurate.
  • Provide analysis and insight, linking financial reports to strategies
  • Provide ongoing higher-level support and guidance on financial matters to relevant stakeholders
  • Support and advise budget holders on the development and submission of business cases as and when required, maximising the link and priority of good financial stewardship and front-line delivery
  • To undertake project- based work for specific projects and programmes
  • Provide quality information as required for external bodies
  • To undertake any other duties, commensurate with the level of the post, as may be required from time to time.

Person Specification

  • Experience in Finance, with an understanding of legislative, regulatory, and best practice requirements
  • Qualified professional accountant
  • Understanding and experience of Finance Business Partnering – both strategic and operational
  • Creative, pragmatic problem solver, with the ability to communicate complex finance requirements and approaches to non-financial leaders and managers
  • A continuous improvement mindset and focus and a genuine commitment to our values and associated behaviours

Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 + Outstanding pension.
