Job Title: Shotblaster
Location: Uttoxeter
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6am - 3:30pm
Pay Rate: £13 - £13.15 per hour
Workchain is currently looking for a diligent Shotblaster to join our client's team in Uttoxeter. This is a temporary to permanent position in the industrial sector with a competitive pay rate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating shotblasting equipment to clean and prepare surfaces for painting or coating
- Monitoring and adjusting settings of machinery to ensure efficient operation
- Inspecting finished surfaces to ensure they meet quality standards
- Following health and safety regulations at all times
- Working collaboratively with team members to achieve production targets
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Shotblaster or in a similar role
- Knowledge of shotblasting equipment and techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
