My client is an established, successful HNW Independent Mortgage brokerage. The company's main aim is to provide the best and most impartial advice available to its clientele.
The company are expanding due to high business levels and a consistent number of quality client leads. In turn they are currently keen to recruit a Self-Employed Corporate Finance Broker to join the team based within their Islington, London office, which is a short walk from Angel underground station.
As a Corporate Finance Broker you will be provided with a number of quality client leads each week (additionally having a modest existing client base/client introducers of your own would also be further beneficial to you). These client leads are gained from the firms' new business development activities (including an in-house Business Development Manager who assists within both generating new and developing existing relationships with the firms corporate clients and introducers), their well established existing client base, Property Development firms and via the firms targeted marketing campaigns.
Within this role the successful candidate will have the opportunity to provide Corporate Finance advice on; Invoice Finance, Bridging Finance, Working Capital Finance, VAT Finance and Asset Finance.
You will be provided with administration support, compliance support, several client leads/client introducers, marketing support, all technology & office provisions are provided to you and a prime London office to work from.
This role will also provide the successful candidate with the opportunity to develop their career further, leading on to building and heading up a team of Corporate Finance Broker's at the company.
Working hours within the role are on a Monday to Friday only basis and are 9:00am to 17:30pm.
Essentially this is a Self-Employed Corporate Finance Broker position, where you will receive great support to succeed and a generous commission split of all net income received by the company, with no thresholds or validations to firstly reach, leading to a realistic OTE of circa £70k-£80k within your first full year and then more thereafter year on year.
You can also initially benefit within your first 6 months in the role by receiving a financial guarantee/retainer to ensure that you are fine financially up until your commission pipeline is very much up and running. Please also note that financial guarantee/retainer is NOT repayable to the company it is simply provided to aid you within your first few months in the role.

Required Experience;
- Corporate Finance Broking experience is essential (preferably of 1 year plus).
- You will preferably have a modest existing base of your own corporate clients/client introducers to work with, in addition to the new clients that the business will regularly provide you with.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organisation and time management skills.
- My client is keen to hire a candidate who is ambitious, driven/committed to succeeding, whist also being a team player.
- Holding the CeMAP (or equivalent) qualification is desirable but NOT essential.
