Are you a Design and Technology Teacher looking for your next position in Swindon? We are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for an experienced Design and Technology Teacher to join an established school in the West Swindon area. This full-time role is starting in September 2024 until July 2025, with part-time being considered for the right candidate. Salary will be dependant on pay scale but will begin at £150 per day up to £220 per day depending on experience. This position is long term with a possibility to go on a fixed term contract in the future.

The successful candidate will have a passion for teaching Design & Technology subjects and a proven track record of inspiring and engaging students in Graphics, Resistant Materials, Construction and Food subjects. They will be able to demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and pedagogical skills and be committed to supporting the school's ethos and values.
Key Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) preferred but not essential with proven experience
  • Relevant degree and/or teaching qualifications
  • Proven experience teaching Design & Technology subjects
  • Strong subject knowledge and pedagogical skills
  • Commitment to student welfare and safeguarding
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
