A UK leading hospitality business is seeking a Commercial Accountant to manage accounts for their group of restaurants.
Role and responsibilities:
- Support the Head of Commercial Finance
- Prepare of draft and final management accounts
- Support the sales and marketing departments on sales analysis and forecasts
- Lead monthly Financial Review Meetings
- Laise with Managers and chefs
- Involvement with the impact and improvement on pricing strategies and promotional activity
- Ad-hoc training for junior staff
- Produce the monthly accounts
- Analyse promotions
- Prepare and review all individual budgets
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Produce monthly financial summaries
- Produce the weekly forecast
- Provide ad hoc financial and operational analysis
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist in the end of financial year audit
- Budgets and Forecasts
This role is perfect for someone who is part-qualified in ACCA or CIMA and is keen to work in a fast-paced environment. This will suit somebody with high ambition who can adapt to new challenges and is commercially minded. Experience within hospitality is desired but not essential.
