SF Recruitment are working with a business who are looking for a Key Account Manager - Fleet Management to join the team
Remote - Travel to Coventry site as required (Candidates must live between Bristol and the Midlands)
£45,000 - £60,000 plus bonus and car

Job Overview
The Key Account Manager (Fleet Management) will be responsible for managing and optimizing the performance of a fleet for a key account. This role requires a candidate with a strong background in fleet management, workshop management, or rental depot management, with a deep understanding of the mechanical aspects of fleet operations. The KAM will focus on delivering exceptional operational performance, ensuring client satisfaction, and maintaining fleet efficiency. This is a remote role with some travel required to the office and client sites.

Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for the key account, fostering strong, long-lasting relationships.
Address client inquiries and issues related to fleet performance promptly and effectively.
Fleet Performance Optimisation
Monitor and analyse fleet performance metrics to identify trends, issues, and areas for improvement.
Implement strategies to optimise fleet operations, reduce downtime, and improve overall efficiency.
Technical Expertise and Support
Utilise mechanical and technical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve fleet-related issues.
Provide guidance on maintenance practices and recommend solutions to enhance fleet reliability.
Operational Oversight
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the fleet, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Coordinate with workshop teams to ensure timely and effective maintenance and repairs.
Internal Coordination
Work closely with internal teams (e.g., maintenance, logistics, customer service) to meet client needs.
Communicate client feedback and operational insights to relevant departments to drive continuous improvement.
Continuous Improvement
Proactively identify opportunities to improve fleet performance and implement best practices.
Conduct regular review meetings with the client to discuss performance metrics, operational enhancements, and strategic initiatives.
Travel Requirements
Travel as needed to the office and client sites to ensure effective fleet management and client engagement.

Qualifications
Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
5+ years of experience in fleet management, workshop management, rental depot management, or a similar role.
Strong mechanical and technical knowledge of fleet operations.

Skills and Competencies
