At CrossReach Perinatal Service our dedicated team of therapists provides weekly counselling and art therapy sessions, both pre- and postnatally, from our central Edinburgh base. Clients can refer themselves or be referred by a health professional from pre-birth until their child is three years old.
Our specialist counsellors focus on the perinatal mental health and well-being of the entire family. With years of experience, they expertly address issues such as anxiety, depression, birth trauma, bonding difficulties, isolation, loss of self, and the stresses of transitioning into parenthood.
We are seeking a dedicated Senior Crèche Worker to join our team in Edinburgh. This role involves providing a safe, secure, and stimulating environment for children aged 0-5 while their parents attend our Counselling and Therapy Services.
As a Senior Crèche Worker, you will nurture and support children and their families, ensuring their needs are met with sensitivity and respect. You will manage the crèche, lead shifts, implement Care Inspectorate guidelines, communicate with parents, support new staff, and maintain high hygiene and safety standards
The ideal candidate will have an HNC/SCQF Level 7 in Childcare or equivalent, basic computer skills, and knowledge of professional frameworks such as GIRFEC. Previous experience with young children and in family support or multi-disciplinary teams is desirable.
