Claims Adjuster - Reinsurance

We are currently recruiting for a Reinsurance Claims Adjuster on behalf of our client, a very highly regarded and well-known brand in the Lloyd's insurance market.
The successful candidate will proactively manage Reinsurance claims within the company's global Reinsurance portfolio from initial notification through to settlement.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively adjusting standard and complex Reinsurance claims within a set claim' authority.
- Develop a thorough understanding of Treaty Reinsurance (Cross Class).
- Monitoring circumstances that may turn into claims, whether in relation to individual risks or global events, such as major Catastrophes or significant losses of interest.
- Ensuring and delivering excellent claims service to all customers, by effectively driving claims through to resolution.
- Communicating proactively with internal and external stakeholders, both in writing and verbally.
- Making clear, comprehensive, and meaningful notes on the claims management system.
- Identifying cedant audits and reporting back to the RI Claims Manager.
Key Requirements
- Experience of handling Reinsurance claims, ideally Treaty Property, Treaty Marine or Treaty Casualty claims (Proportional and/or Non-Proportional) within the London market.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
