Accounts - Accounts Payable/Purchase ledger Administrator

A client based in Stanmore is recruiting for an accounts person who has experience of accounts payable and purchase ledger. This role is working 100% in the office

An opportunity has arisen within our Accounts Department for a Accounts Payable and Receivable Administrator to join our growing Accounts Department. The ideal candidate needs to have excellent attention to detail and have a positive attitude towards work. For the right candidate there is scope for ongoing professional development, training and qualifications. .

Requisites :

  • You should be able to communicate clear and confidently.
  • Good eye for detail and strong processing skills.
  • Worked in an office environment for no less than 12 months.
  • Excellent organisation skills
  • Basic understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
  • Knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel, and familiarity with other computer and accounting software is desirable. Training will be provided on current accounts software
  • A team player and ability to work on own initiative

The initial responsibilities will include :

  • Accurately and timely processing invoices.
  • Promptly answering enquiries via email and or telephone.
  • Processing weekly payment runs.
  • Imputing and updating supplier bank details.
  • Tracking incoming payment and reconciling to correct accounts and ledgers.
  • Updating account information for client and tenants statements.
  • Assisting with audits and checking any discrepancies.
  • Ensuring that financial records meet with our standard and regulated activity.
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as required within the Estates Finance function.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
