We are seeking a Management Accountant to join our diverse and dynamic team. Day-to-day of the role:

  • Preparation of monthly accruals and deferred/accrued income in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Review and sense check of monthly transactions and P&L performance.
  • Assisting in analysis and forecasting for the brands.
  • Completing balance sheet reconciliations and recording fixed assets.
  • Conducting comparison analysis on monthly MI reporting.
  • Applying accruals and prepayments.
  • Overseeing accounts assistant tasks related to Purchase/Sales Ledger.
  • Developing and improving reporting packs for key stakeholders within the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) of the brand.
  • Supporting internal and external audits.
  • Involvement in projects and continuous improvement initiatives within the Finance department.
  • Managing new and existing supply chain accounts and terms.
  • Reporting on specific project or department performance.
  • Undertaking other ad hoc duties as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • CIMA/ACCA qualification, QBE preferred but not essential.
  • Management Accounts experience is essential
  • Experience within transportation, logistics or construction is preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high volumes.
  • Management and development experience.
  • Excellent IT skills, including experience with Xero and advanced Excel reporting (pivot tables and complex formulae).
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Great communication skills to relay key information to stakeholders.

This role is for an immediate start and is looking for someone who can initially join on a temporary basis. For the right person, this could potentially turn into a permanent role.
