Position: Quality Engineer

Location: Midlands (DY7)

Salary: £32,000 - £38,000 (Negotiable for Exceptional Candidates)

Our client, a renowned global leader in the manufacturing and distribution of specialist engineered assemblies, is currently offering an exciting career opportunity for an experienced Quality Engineer.

This role is based at their state-of-the-art production site in the Midlands (DY7), where precision and innovation drive the development of products that play a critical role in the medical industry.

As a Quality Engineer, you will report directly to the site Quality Manager and be entrusted with the responsibility of upholding and enhancing quality standards across both products and processes at the site. Your expertise will directly contribute to ensuring that the products manufactured meet the stringent requirements essential for medical applications, ultimately impacting patient safety and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and maintain the highest quality standards across all manufacturing processes, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and internal protocols.

Implement and monitor quality control measures to ensure that all products meet or exceed the required specifications, particularly for critical medical applications.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and supply chain, to identify and rectify any quality issues swiftly and effectively.

Conduct regular audits and inspections to assess compliance and identify areas for continuous improvement.

Play a key role in driving quality initiatives that support the company's commitment to excellence in the medical field.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior quality team members, fostering a culture of quality and precision.

Prepare and present detailed quality reports to senior management, offering insights and recommendations for process enhancements.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will be of graduate calibre, bringing significant experience in quality engineering within high-technology manufacturing environments such as medical, automotive, aerospace or other related industries.

A strong understanding of quality assurance in a regulated industry, particularly within the medical sector, is essential. You should be an ambitious professional with a passion for quality and a desire to make a tangible difference in the lives of patients through the work you do.
