Our client, a national charity, are seeking an experienced person to work closely with the SMT to establish the new Safeguarding team. This will include the process of reviewing existing employment arrangements with each regional team, and leading on and the implementation of the HR processes required to set up new safeguarding employment structures.

You will oversee and implement financial arrangements, structures and the formation of new teams and lead of the change process with the Director of HR.

Duties will include -

  • Consult with regions to support them in ending their existing safeguarding employment arrangements and ensure a successful transition into the new
  • Work with HR to determine what HR and employment law processes are required for the new structure.
  • Plan and establish a timeframe for any HR and legal employment processes to take
  • Implement and oversee to completion any HR and legal employment processes that are
  • Oversee the recruitment of staff into the new employment
  • Oversee and implement any financial arrangements resulting from processes in establishing the new structure.
  • Once the structure has been implemented, hand over responsibility and information to relevant colleagues for ongoing oversight and

About you -

  • You will have experience of leading change via transformational programmes
  • Be qualified to CIPD level (or equivalent)
  • Extensive knowledge of employee law processes and data protection legislation
  • Experience of overseeing and implementing legal employment processes during a change initiative
  • Experience of project planning, management and delivery throughout change initiatives
  • Strong people and stakeholder management, using a high degree of emotional intelligence to foster positive relationships
  • Experience of safeguarding would be an advantage
