One of our leading clients in Manchester is recruiting for a Legal PA to provide comprehensive PA and secretarial support to the Partners and Legal Advisors in the Dispute Resolution & Litigation team.
This role demands proactive thinking, exceptional organization, and the ability to use initiative to meet the team's needs.
This role is ideal for a candidate with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to anticipate and address the needs of a busy legal team.
- Proactively managing diaries, resolving conflicts, and ensuring efficient scheduling. Coordinating meetings, travel arrangements, hotels, and related logistics.
- Collaborating with the team to manage and develop client relationships, organizing internal and external meetings and events to maximize the Partners' time.
- Completing and submitting file opening forms, liaising with the Inception Team for conflict checks and money laundering compliance, and managing incoming post by scanning to the case management system.
- Preparing expense claims, raising, and sending out invoices for the Litigation Team, and following up on payments.
Skills and qualifications
- Previous Legal PA experience in a similar role looking after Partners and a broader team,
- Specific litigation experience desirable, but not essential
- Willing to support across the broader Dispute Resolution and Litigation practice area, as necessary.
