Established business in Dartford looking to hire an Assistant Accountant on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast growing, privately owned PLC, with an excellent reputation in their field and a national presence. Reporting to the Finance Manager, duties and responsibilities of the role include:
- Prepare Daily, Weekly and Monthly Reports for all levels of the business
- Manage journal entries
- Prepare VAT returns for multiple countries
- Oversee all transactions concerning our EU Warehouse operations
- Process Direct Debit payments accurately and efficiently
- Reconcile GL accounts
- Monitor Duty Rates and Commodity Codes
- Provide coverage for Credit Control and Accounts Payable functions as required
This role would suit someone with experience in a similar role, who is studying AAT Level 2/3. First rate Excel skills and familiarity with SAP Business One would be preferred but not essential. This role is office based Mon-Fri, 8:30-5 and benefits include a bonus scheme, pension, onsite parking and staff discount.
