Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and dedicated Demi Chef de Partie (Demi CDP) to join our culinary team. In this role, you will work closely with our experienced chefs to deliver exceptional barbecue dishes using the Nose to Tail philosophy. You will have the opportunity to hone your skills, contribute creatively to our menu, and grow within our family-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef in preparing and presenting high-quality dishes.
  • Ensure the kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently during service.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.
  • Manage and train junior kitchen staff when necessary.
  • Contribute to menu development and new dish creation.
  • Monitor portion and waste control to maintain profit margins.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Demi Chef de Partie or a similar role in a reputable kitchen.
  • Passion for Nose to Tail cooking and barbecue cuisine.
  • Strong understanding of culinary techniques and kitchen equipment.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to high standards.
  • Flexibility to work the required rota (Wednesday to Sunday).
