Aspire People are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to work across various schools in the Shrewsbury area. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about education and looking to make a positive impact on students learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise classes and manage student behaviour in the absence of the regular teacher.
- Ensure students are focused and complete the work set by the teacher.
- Support students with any questions or difficulties they may have with the tasks.
- Maintain a positive learning environment and ensure the classroom is conducive to effective learning.
- Report any issues or concerns to the appropriate staff member.
- Follow school policies and procedures, including safeguarding and health & safety.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting is preferred.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A flexible and adaptable approach to work.
- A passion for education and a commitment to student development.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
