Your Role & Responsibilities:

  • As the Electrical/PV Installations Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in the daily delivery of photovoltaic (PV) and general domestic electrical installations.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supervision: Lead and oversee the installation of photovoltaic (PV) systems and general electrical upgrades.
  • Inspections & Compliance: Conduct Pre-Installation Building Inspections (PIBI's) in line with PAS2030, ensuring compliance with MCS and PAS2030 standards
  • Planning & Support: Assist with planning submissions, DNO applications, and internal audits. Support the team with technical surveys, design justifications, and material statements.
  • Health & Safety: Ensure all health and safety requirements are met, produce risk assessments, and manage material orders.
  • Design & Documentation: Contribute to the development of design processes and assist with Construction Phase Plans and post-construction documentation in line with CDM.
  • Client & Stakeholder Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors, ensuring seamless communication and progress reporting.
  • Tender Support: Assist with bids, tenders, and technical document preparation for sustainable projects.

  • Leadership: Excellent management skills with the ability to mentor, motivate the team
  • Technical Background: A solid electrical background with a good understanding of renewable technologies.
  • Communication: Strong interpersonal skills, with excellent writing, presentation, and time management abilities.
  • Problem Solving: A proactive, analytical mindset with a passion for optimization and improvement.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous record-keeping and the ability to influence processes across departments.
