Are you passionate about supporting children and ready to begin a rewarding career in education? We are recruiting full-time SEND Teaching Assistants to join a fantastic school in High Wycombe. This role runs from Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:00 pm.
About the Role:
- As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will provide 1:1 support to children with complex needs, assisting with their learning, development, and personal growth.
- Help create a safe, supportive, and engaging classroom environment.
- As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will build strong connections with students to make them feel comfortable in and outside the classroom.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure each student's progress is prioritized.
- As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with a child to help them reach their developmental milestones.
Requirements:
- Available immediately, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 4:00 pm.
- Experience supporting SEND children in either a special needs or mainstream school setting.
- Hold or be willing to obtain a Child-Only DBS.
- Previous experience working with children in a capacity where a reference can be provided.
- Reside in or near High Wycombe or within commuting distance.
