Our client is seeking a highly skilled Revenue Controller to join their dynamic team in London. This role offers an attractive salary range of £40,000 - £50,000 depending on experience and the opportunity to work with one of the largest accountancy firms in the UK. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in leading the revenue control function, supervising finance apprentices, and ensuring the successful implementation of a new accounts receivable system.

REVENUE CONTROLLER

As a Revenue Controller, you will be at the forefront of revolutionising the revenue control function. Your primary responsibility will be managing the project to roll out a new accounts receivable system that integrates with existing practice management systems. You will also supervise finance apprentices, ensuring all revenue control processes are completed efficiently. Your role will extend to overseeing the credit card function, processing debtor write-offs, monitoring cash targets, and running WIP reports. Your ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines will contribute significantly to your success in this role.

  • Manage the roll-out of a new accounts receivable system
  • Supervise finance apprentices and ensure completion of revenue control processes
  • Oversee credit card function, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
  • Process debtor write-offs after obtaining necessary authorisation
  • Monitor cash targets and reduce lockup days to appropriate levels
  • Run WIP reports and arrange meetings to ensure control of working capital

The Ideal Candidate:

The ideal Revenue Controller candidate brings proven experience as a credit controller within a professional service environment. You have demonstrated project management skills with an accounts payable system and are proficient in sales ledger processing, bill preparation, cash allocation, and accounts processing. Your strong organisational skills enable you to manage time effectively and meet strict deadlines. Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, along with experience using accounting and practice management software is essential for this role.
