Marketing Coordinator - The Merry Hill Centre

  • Support the marketing team to deliver the centre's annual marketing plan in line with the overall centre strategy, contributing to a plan that includes Merry Hill key campaigns and media, seasonal retail moments, notable dates and events
  • Work with marketing colleagues to deliver the centre's digital marketing strategy
  • Plan, develop, produce and execute an engaging content plan across the centre's digital platforms that strengthens Merry Hill's brand position and includes retailer community, ESG and commercialisation activity
  • Amplify key messages creatively across the centre channels, giving people persuasive reasons to visit the centre. This will include briefing external agencies to produce compelling content and the centre's always on paid digital advertising
  • Joint day-to-day responsibility for the centre's digital channels and platforms, as well as any new relevant channels. This includes the centre's website, customer e-mail database, social media platforms, digital screens and internal communications app
  • Produce elements of the centre's digital content, including short form video and creative copywriting for campaigns and centre initiatives. This will also include briefing external partners to produce content for you
  • Introduce new digitally related ideas to enhance individual campaigns focused on driving reach and customer engagement
  • Manage retailer content across the centre's digital platforms in a timely manner, including new retailers / leisure attractions, news, events and key promotions. Ensure the centre's website is always up-to-date, and refreshed with new and engaging content, retailer information is accurate, we're promoting events, celebrating key dates and gifting windows across the annual calendar
  • Support the Head of Marketing to ensure that all marketing communications, including collateral produced for brands, visitors, local community stakeholders, partners or commercial partners is in line with Merry Hill's brand guidelines and ensure sign off through the correct approvals process.
  • Be a broader support to centre events, promotions and other activities where required, including taking a social first approach to planning so you create increasing amounts of customer engagement in the centre
  • Assist the marketing department with the implementation and communication of the centre's ESG plan, that addresses both the needs of the local community and centre
  • Assist with the evaluation of all marketing activities, reporting results for each campaign, as well as ensuring that regular reporting timescales are met, and you are demonstrating the impact marketing provides
  • Regularly communicate with retailers, restaurant and leisure tenants in the centre through regular meetings and face-to-face visits to build strong relationships raise awareness of marketing campaigns, encourage involvement in marketing opportunities and to gather engaging content opportunities that can be amplified via the centre's channels.
  • Provide administrative support to the marketing team where required and work in conjunction with all Merry Hill and Savills colleagues to maintain consistently high standards within the centre
  • Support the Head of Marketing and Assistant Marketing Manager with any reactive media, including managing any crisis communication issues via our digital channels
  • Some weekend and evening working across the year is involved, lieu time is provided
  • Any other duties as reasonably appropriate
