Job Title: IT Manager
Location: Milton Keynes
Salary up to £70k per annum
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced IT Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our IT systems. The successful candidate will manage the IT team, implement and develop system improvements, provide training to users, and assist colleagues with IT-related issues as needed.
Key Responsibilities:

IT Hardware Management:

Oversee the purchase of replacement IT hardware in line with company policy.

Prepare an annual forecast of IT purchasing for the financial controller's budget.

System Improvements and Support:

Assist the financial controller in developing improvements to the IT systems.

Ensure all data is backed up and stored appropriately.

Compliance and Audits:

Maintain records for Sox processes and assist auditors where necessary.

Conduct and plan annual external Sox and ISO audits.

Ensure compliance with ISO27001 standards and company quality policies.

Telephony and Network Infrastructure:

Analyze telephony bills and manage the telephony estate.

Coordinate the implementation of new hardware/software and maintain the IT network infrastructure across all offices.

User Licensing and Security:

Monitor and audit user licensing to ensure all products are licensed correctly.

Ensure all anti-virus software is up-to-date and installed on PCs.

AS400 System Management:

Oversee the scheduling of daily, monthly, and yearly jobs on AS400.

Ensure regular "Save All" backups of AS400 libraries and programs.

Disaster Recovery and Risk Management:

Ensure disaster recovery processes are in place and tested annually.

Conduct annual risk assessments and penetration tests in accordance with company controls.
Specific Activities:
- Plan and prioritize the IT team's tasks.
- Ensure the continued development of team members.
- Maintain hardware according to company policy.
Time-Critical Activities:
- Reactivate user passwords promptly to ensure no interruption in work.
- Ensure all promotions are uploaded before the new pricing period begins.
Annual Review Procedure:
An annual review will be conducted to evaluate:
- Key tasks and specific activities.
- The effectiveness of communication lines.
- Re-alignment of individual objectives with company objectives.
- Updates to job descriptions.
- Training needs for performance improvements and new work areas.
