Your new school

The school is looking for a teaching assistant who can support the learning and development of their students, both academically and socially.

About your role as the new EYFS Teaching Assistant

  • To build and maintain successful relationships with pupils, treat them consistently, with respect and consideration.
  • To help promote independent learning.
  • To help reinforce learning.
  • To help students record work appropriately.
  • To develop study and organisational skills.
  • To help keep the students on task and to build motivation.
  • To model good practice.
  • To help build the students' confidence and enhance self-esteem.

What you will need to succeed

  • * Experience working within a primary OR nursery class.
  • * Good behaviour management and organisational skills.
  • * You need to be flexible and willing to travel around the Islington area.
  • * You must hold a DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for a DBS through Hays.
