Here at the Caravan and Motorhome Club, we're now seeking a Lead Architectural Technician to provide technical support on projects from inception to completion through provision of design concepts, technical drawings and assisting in ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
Reporting to the Principal Development Manager, you'll produce high quality concept and technical drawings in Autocad and Revit suitable for planning, tendering and construction on a variety of project types including new build, refurbishment and groundworks. You'll manage the change management procedures within the Club to allow continued evolution of specifications and engage with external suppliers and consultants as directed by Development Managers.
About you
Educated to HND or higher in a building related qualification, you'll have a strong track record as a UK based Architectural Technician. As an effective communicator, both verbally and written with good organisational skills, you'll be able to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders.
As a highly competent Autocad operator with an excellent working knowledge of Building Regulations and other relevant building legislation such as British Standards, you'll have the experience and knowledge of managing planning applications and the ability to produce high quality technical construction drawings.
Working knowledge of Revit is advantageous.

Although this role is based in East Grinstead, it will be a mixture of home / office working. After an initial 4 weeks in the office, we anticipate 1-2 days will be spent working in the office and the other days working from home. Be prepared to undertake UK travel and stay overnight, as required.
