Our client, a leading entity in the Aviation sector and is currently seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager for a contract role based in Whiteley.
This 6 month (hybrid) contract role in Whiteley offers a dynamic opportunity to support the Supply Chain team in implementing category strategies and managing end-to-end supply chain activities to deliver business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Supply Chain team in defining and implementing category strategies for select portfolios across the organisation's businesses.
- Effectively manage and report on the delivery and performance of nominated supplier contracts.
- Regularly review and implement global supply chain category and commodity strategies.
- Ensure effective supplier onboarding and continuous review of supplier capability.
- Develop and manage contractual relationships with suppliers.
- Measure, manage, and develop supplier performance to meet contractual and project targets.
Experience:
- Experience in category and contract management.
- CIPS qualification (Desirable)
- Experience in managing complex contract negotiations across various spend areas.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and projects.
- Experience in working within 'blue chip' and FTSE 100 companies.
