Development Team Manager - Accommodation Service

Seven Resourcing are currently looking for a Team Manager to work within an accommodation service in Croydon. You will be responsible for the day to day running and strategic development of the accommodation service.

Rate: This role is paying £20.61 per hour.

Location: Croydon, London.

Hours: Full time hours - Monday - Friday.

Responsibilities:

  • To be responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of partnerships and engagement strategies for both services.
  • To develop joint working and monitoring protocols with key stakeholders and partners for both services and to be the main point of contact for ongoing joint working relationships.
  • To manage all elements of service performance related to the contract requirements including analysis of KPIs, outcomes and user experience measures
  • To lead Team Meetings and engage staff in reflective supervision. : To lead on the timely and accurate submission of all internal and external reports detailing interim strategies to address any areas of underperformance in line with contract requirements
  • To work with the Service Manager on the development and implementation of the annual Business Plan and Equality plan
  • To maintain the continuing relevance of service provision to service user needs by ongoing planning, monitoring and evaluating and effective service delivery
  • To achieve the agreed standards of service delivery in compliance with relevant legislation, external governance, contract requirements and Hestia policies and procedures
  • To work with the Service Manager to ensure a healthy and safe environment for all employees, service users, professionals and other visitors by ensuring service delivery is in line with organisational procedures and H&S Legislation
  • To liaise with the management regarding H & S issues. Management of resources
  • To work with the Service Manager to manage the financial accountability by operating within Hestia's financial policies and procedures
  • To make best use of Hestia's property, equipment and Information Technology at all times.
  • To provide effective and inspiring leadership, management and support to the support staff and volunteers.
  • To oversee the recruitment and induction of all new staff and volunteers to meet the recruitment requirements for the service
  • To ensure that all staff engage in an annual appraisal and regular supervision
  • To deliver contractual staffing levels
  • To manage staff performance
  • To undertake disciplinary and grievance investigations and to chair hearings using the organisations procedures when required
  • To provide support for volunteers and Social Work Students in line with Hestia's Volunteers and Social Work Student policies and procedures
  • To support the Service Manager to work with the Senior Management Team, including the Area Manager and Regional Director, to enable the organisation to develop its aims and objectives by participating in strategic planning and delivery processes to further organisational policy and practice development.
  • To promote the aims, objectives and service delivery of the organisation, and represent the organisation by building effective relationships with commissioners and relevant partners.
  • To define and implement the relationship between service users and staff as one of mutuality and reciprocity, rather than of dependency
  • To ensure that the organisation's strategies are met, and policies, procedures and values are adhered to in all matters of service delivery
  • Understanding of, and the ability and motivation to implement excellent Equality & Diversity practice.
