Role Overview:

The MFL Teacher will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality language education to secondary school students. You will be responsible for inspiring students to embrace new languages and cultures through innovative and engaging teaching methods.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver stimulating lessons in one or more foreign languages.
  • Customize teaching approaches to address the varied learning styles and abilities of students.
  • Incorporate cultural elements and authentic materials to deepen students' understanding and appreciation of the language.
  • Evaluate student progress and provide feedback to encourage mastery of language skills.
  • Work in collaboration with fellow MFL teachers to create a cohesive curriculum and a nurturing educational environment.

Requirements:

  • Degree in a relevant language or Modern Foreign Languages Education.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching MFL at the secondary level.
  • Proficiency in one or more foreign languages and a passion for language teaching.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage a multicultural classroom.
