Prospero teaching is looking for a dynamic PE teacher to join the sports department of a 'good' secondary school in Gateshead. This position is a full time.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Teach KS3 and KS4 children Physical Education.
- Plan and deliver lessons independently.
- Manage behaviour effectively.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience working in a UK school.
- Ideally hold a teaching qualification (QTS or QTLS preferred) or equivalent.
- Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential).
- GCSE English and Maths grade 'C' or '4' & above.
- Sports/ Physical Education related degree.
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child related references
