Aspire People is delighted to announce a rewarding opportunity for an experienced SENDCo to join a supportive primary school in Stourbridge. This part-time position requires a committed professional to work 3 days per week, starting as soon as possible and continuing into the new academic year.
What We're Looking For:
- Qualified SENDCo: Must hold the NASENCo qualification.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Proven experience in supporting children with special educational needs and disabilities.
- Strong understanding of SEND legislation and best practices.
- Exceptional organizational and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication abilities to liaise effectively with staff, parents, and external agencies.
- Dedication to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Leading and managing SEND provision across the school.
- Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with SEND.
- Coordinating with teachers, support staff, and external specialists to ensure effective support for all SEND pupils.
- Providing training and support to staff on SEND best practices and strategies.
- Monitoring and evaluating the progress of SEND students, adjusting strategies as needed.
