We are seeking an HR Manager to join a leading Care organisation based in Fallowfield, Manchester. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a well-established organisation known for its great culture and ethos. The role offers hybrid/home working flexibility with occasional travel to various sites as required.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Manage the operations of HR services, ensuring exceptional service quality and the development of new initiatives.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that align with the overall business strategy.
  • Address management and employee relations issues, including demands, grievances, or other concerns.
  • Oversee the recruitment and selection process, ensuring a smooth and efficient hiring experience.
  • Manage onboarding and induction processes to welcome new team members effectively.
  • Provide guidance and support to the HR function, fostering a positive work environment.
  • Enforce company policies and practices, ensuring compliance and consistency.
  • Facilitate succession and development planning for key roles within the organisation.
  • Lead HR-related projects in line with business requirements.
  • Drive the development and delivery of training programs for the HR team to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in advising on ER matters including disciplinary and grievance cases, performance management, and absence management.
  • Experience leading HR project work streams.
  • Strong understanding of HR legislation.
  • CIPD qualification Level 5 or higher is desirable.
