Early Years Teaching Assistant - BH15, Dorset
Prospero Teaching are working with an Good Ofsted rated SEN School based in BH15 recruiting an Early Years / KS1 Teaching Assistant.
The school are looking for individuals that are supportive, non-judgemental, patient, easy to talk to, positive and flexible. You must be able to speak to pupils in a manner which encourages and supports them, enabling you to build trusting relationships.Previous experience of working with young people is desirable. Experience with autistic children would be an advantage. A team player with patience, understanding and a willingness to develop is needed.
Working hours are 9.00am - 15.30pm

- Minimum rate of pay - GBP13.09 per hour
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Relevant Qualifications Desirable e.g. Teaching Assistant or a Level 2 CACHE Diploma in child related.
- Previous experience working in a UK school or with children of a similar age
- Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential as some training is provided)
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child related references
